Urban Neighbours of Hope is a ministry operating in Randwick Park in South Auckland. Dave and his team run a variety of social enterprise type organisations to provide hope and a means of employment to people who want to build better lives.
Through lawn mowing and bouncy castles hire they contracting for various jobs for the council they are empowering vulnerable.

Support to set up Athletes in Action South Island
For the last 20 years, Dave Morgan has worked in Full time Christian ministry with youth and adults in Universities and churches across Australia and New Zealand. Last year, he accepted Tandem Ministries' invitation to establish and lead a new initiative to set up an Athletes in Action team in the South Island. He will be based at the University of Canterbury and Lincoln and care for the rapidly growing number of Christian Student-Athletes.
Day to day, leaders from Athletes in Action, meet up with student-athletes on the various campuses to support and encourage them in their journey, including helping them to investigate faith in Christ and growing as a disciple of Jesus - i.e. living for Christ in all aspects of life. There are unique challenges that face these young people. Working closely with student-athletes, we see their vulnerability. They operate under pressure both internally from their own expectations and externally from performance requirements. We look at real issues facing student-athletes, such as identity, preparing for life - with or without sport and dealing with failure or injury.
